Day 18 - Done! After reaching a max altitude of 4700 and trekking up to 7 hours per day, Brenda Matthews has finally completed her strenuous Annapurna trek. Three cheers: Hip hip hooray.. Hip hip hooray... Hip hip hooray!

Parkinson's Western Australia Inc

Incorporated in 1984, Parkinson's Western Australia Inc. provides a Parkinson's Nurse Specialist Service; support networks for people with Parkinson's and their family carers; and educational resources and training. It is estimated there are some 8,000 people living with Parkinson's in Western Australia.

Parkinson's is the 2nd most common degenerative neurological condition after dementia, and affects the brain's ability to control physical movement, such as walking, talking and writing.

A total of 30 people will be diagnosed with Parkinson's in Australia every day.
