FARA (Friedreich Ataxia Research Association)
FARA supports scientific research of the neurological, degenerative disease Friedreich Ataxia (FA). FA affects mostly young children and teenagers, initially causing co-ordination, balance and speech problems. It is progressive, and currently there is no treatment or cure. FARA is the only funding body for Friedreich Ataxia research in Australia and needs your help. It is a race against time for all FA sufferers and their families.
