Stars of Eurobodalla Dance for Cancer is a gala fundraising event for Cancer Council NSW.

Since commencing in 2016 the event has raised over $92,000 with around 250 people coming every year to watch our stars and their dance partners perform everything from the hip hop, to ballet and ballroom. It is a fantastic evening with an atmosphere full of entertainment, laughter and most of all community spirit.

The event will be held on Saturday the 10th August 2019 at The Bateman’s Bay Soldier’s Club. Just like on the television show ‘Dancing with the Stars’, prominent Eurobodalla community members will work with a professional dance instructor over 12 weeks to choreograph and learn a dance routine, which they then perform in front of a panel of judges and an appreciative audience at the Gala event.

Cancer Council NSW

Cancer Council believes in a cancer free future. There are things that we can all do every day to help make this happen.

Every year in NSW alone, more than 48,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed, and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.

Together with our volunteers, supporters, stakeholders and staff, we are committed to reducing the impact of cancer on individuals and the community, and to lessening the burden for people affected by cancer.

We are the only organisation in Australia that works across every area of every cancer:

* conducting and funding world-class research that underpins our work across the cancer journey
* preventing cancer
* supporting people as they navigate the cancer journey
* advocating to ensure that governments take action on cancer.

We are there not only for those touched by cancer today, but to prevent and manage cancer for future generations.
