The ACT Australia - 1200Kms For Kids is a charity bike ride with the aim of helping sick kids by raising funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. Co-founders of the event, Trevelyan Bale and Gary Richardson were inspired to start this event after personal experiences with both, the Royal Children’s Hospital, Brisbane and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. Over the last 10 years, the riders of 1200Kms For Kids have banded together with one passionate goal – helping the kids! In just 10 years, 1200Kms For Kids has raised over $1,500,000.

This October, an inspiring group of cyclists and their support crew will take leave from their everyday jobs and cycle over 1,200 kilometres in 9 days for the sole purpose of raising money to help sick kids. The ride will start from the home of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation in North Sydney on Saturday 14th October heading to Newcastle, Muswellbrook, Tamworth, Armidale, Glen Innes, Warwick and Ipswich before finishing in Brisbane at the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital on Saturday 21st October.
