Where does the money raised go?

Funds raised will go towards vital research and to ensure that the Parkinson’s NSW can continue to provide services to those living with Parkinson’s. To learn more about Parkinson’s NSW and what we do, head on over to the About Parkinson’s NSW page.

Is my registration tax deductible?

Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible, but your registration is not tax deductible.

Can I transfer my registration fee or obtain a refund?

Registration fees are non-refundable. If you can’t make it on the day, think of your registration fee as a donation. But we hope you do make it!

Who can participate in the event?

Walkers of ages and abilities can participate, including your dogs. We encourage you to ask all your friends, family, work mates and your entire neighbourhood to get involved.

All our food stalls will be donating a portion of their profits made on the day, so make sure you’re hungry.

What should I bring on the day?

Please bring your own water bottle. We will not be selling single-use water bottles on the day to lessen the impact we have on the environment. Alternatively, you can purchase a Parkinson’s NSW water bottle when you arrive from the merchandise tent in Sydney and Wollongong. Regional Walks may or may not be selling merchandise on the day.

Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, a warm jacket if the weather looks cold, plus a picnic blanket to relax on after the walk. Most importantly bring your friends, family and your neighbours.
