About Parkinson's NSW

Parkinson’s NSW is a peak body that provides information, support and education to people living with Parkinson’s, their families, carers and health professionals. Our services include:

  • An InfoLine staffed by specialised Parkinson’s nurses
  • Face to face and online counselling
  • Neurological Nurses in regional and rural communities
  • Over 75 Support Groups throughout metropolitan and regional NSW
  • Education seminars for the general public,
  • Education seminars to GP’s, nurses and allied health professionals

In addition to our support services, we fund research into finding better treatments and give scholarships to exercise physiologists and professionals.

Our vision is a community free of Parkinson’s.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of people living with Parkinson’s.
