Thank you for choosing to support the Butterfly Foundation by creating an online tribute page in memory of your loved one.

In memory giving allows the legacy of your loved one to support the lives of people experiencing eating disorders and negative body image. Your fundraising efforts will make a real difference to the work we do across Australia.

Butterfly’s mission is for all Australians affected by eating disorders to be able to access treatment regardless of their location or income. We are one step closer with your support.

How your gift could make a difference:

  • Enable parents of someone with an eating disorder to attend a Butterfly face-to-face support group
  • Develop resources to support individual & family eating disorder recovery
  • Enable someone experiencing an eating disorder & their support person to attend a six week face-to-face recovery program
  • Fund Butterfly's sessional presenters to educate & empower teachers, students & parents within schools on prevention & early identification
  • Enable Butterfly to train & educate rural or remote communities to deliver Butterfly's recovery  & carer support programs
  • Assist with funding the relocation of an entire family so their loved one can attend the Intensive Outpatient Program

Your unique tribute page can be personalised with photos and videos of your loved one, and Everyday Hero makes it easy to share the link with friends and family via social media or email so they can leave messages of support and make a donation.

If you have any questions regarding set up of your In Memory' giving supporter page or to request donation envelopes to display at a funeral, please don't hesitate to contact Elizabeth Herd, Fundraising Manager on 03 9040 1591 or elizabeth.herd@thebutterflyfoundation.org.au

Your support makes a real difference to Butterfly’s ability to be there for individuals and their families struggling to access support and care within the community.

The team at Butterfly thank you in advance for your generosity.

Butterfly Foundation

Butterfly Foundation is a national organisation that offers support for all people affected by an eating disorder and body image concerns. As well as being a leading national voice in supporting those impacted by eating disorders, Butterfly highlights the realities of seeking treatment for recovery, and advocates for improved services from both government and independent sources.

Butterfly is dedicated to changing the culture, policy and practice in the prevention and treatment of eating disorders and to raising awareness of eating disorders as a serious social, medical and mental health issue.
