Support Butterfly This #LOVEYOURBODYWEEK & #BEAVOICEFORCHANGE

Love Your Body Week is Butterfly Foundation's national awareness campaign supported by Sportsgirl. The campaign coincides with Body Image and Eating Disorder Awareness Week and aims to raise awareness of body image concerns and promote body confidence in all Australians by celebrating body diversity.

The campaign takes place 2nd to 8th September and this year we need YOUR SUPPORT more than ever!

Last year we revealed some alarming statistics around how prevelant body dissatisfaction is in Australia and called upon you to #CHANGETHECONVERSATION about our bodies.

2018 SURVEY RESULTS

You raised your voices with pledges and flooded social media with messages of body positivity and we heard you loud and clear! However, the conversation cannot stop there!

This year, we are calling on 10,000 of you to #BEAVOICEFORCHANGE by taking our 2019 Body Esteem survey.

We want to hear from you about your experiences of body image and appearance and how this impacts on your everyday life so we can continue the work that we do with real facts and above all continue to change the conversation around body image and celebrate body diversity!

Please take the survey now to help us reach #10000VOICES to bring about change!

Butterfly Foundation

The Butterfly Foundation is a national organisation that offers support for all people affected by an eating disorder and body image concerns. Along with our support services, such as the National ED HOPE Support Line, an Intensive Outpatient Program, an adolescent day program and regular support groups, we also run education programs across the country for young people, parents and professionals on building positive body image and self-esteem.

As well as being a leading national voice in supporting those impacted by eating disorders, Butterfly highlights the realities of seeking treatment for recovery, and advocates for improved services from both government and independent sources.

The foundation is dedicated to changing the culture, policy and practice in the prevention and treatment of eating disorders and to raising awareness of eating disorders as a serious social, medical and mental health issue.
