A new venue!

We are very excited to announce Coast Shelter's Million Star Executive Sleepout (formerly Zoo and Snooze) for 2017 will be held at:

Glenworth Valley

Fundraising and awareness for people struggling with homelessness are our main objectives, but we also want to increase the networking opportunities on the night so we have some special activities organised.

Don’t miss this sleepout!

 About the Event

The Million Star Executive Sleepout is a one night Sleepout at Glenworth Valley

Friday 4th August 2017

The Million Star Executive Sleepout has 2 main aims. They are to raise funds and to raise awareness through the business community, of the issues surrounding homelessness on the Central Coast of NSW.

Executives, business owners and their staff will sleep out to have a small insight of what homeless people experience every night. Although we can never truly experience being homeless from one night in the cold, it will help open our eyes a little.

So, step out of your comfort zone, enjoy a night of networking and fun and help us raise some money.

Coast Shelter

Coast Shelter provides accommodation and support to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness on the NSW Central Coast.
The money raised from events such as the Million Star Sleepout (formerly known as Zoo and Snooze), Toast The Coast and the Century Challenge Cycle Ride as well as other appeals, will help us provide safe shelter for some people that may otherwise be turned away due to lack of available accommodation.

Unfortunately there are a lot of local Central Coast residents who do not have a permanent home or bed to sleep in. They have to sleep on the street, in a park or car, or sleep on a friend’s couch. For many it’s circumstances beyond their control - sudden and unexpected job loss, domestic violence or mental health issues are just some of the problems we see daily. Coast Shelter provides support services including accommodation and over 50,000 meals every year.

The money raised from these events will go to provide assistance to many hundreds of Central Coast people in need.
