Global Tiger Day 2017 has now finished

24 Jul 2017 - 28 Jul 2017

Global Tiger Day is an international initiative of the Global Tiger Summit 2010 to raise funds and awareness for wild tiger conservation and with up to only 4000 left in the wild, these critically endangered species need your help.

Dreamworld is one of the largest zoological contributors to tiger conservation in the world through its DWF initiatives. The park’s 11 tigers are ambassadors for their wild cousins raising much needed funds for conservation through guest interactions and donations.

Dreamworld General Manager of Life Sciences and DWF Director, Al Mucci, said conservation initiatives funded by DWF were helping save tigers in the wilds of Indonesia and Russia with the help of anti-poaching teams.

“The Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation relies on donations from our Dreamworld guests through tiger experiences including walks and feeds, adopt a tiger program, and involvement in events such as Global Tiger Day to celebrate our beautiful and endangered big cats,” Mr Mucci said.
